The Window Fashion Pros currently offer over 50 unique collections in our Woven Wood/Bamboo shade assortment. Exotic woods, bamboo, grass, and jute are used to make The Window Fashion Pros collections of bamboo shades and Bamboo/Woven Woods. Deciding which of these unique room enhancing materials fits your home best is the first step in arriving at your window shade solution. Beyond the dramatic differences in the way the assortment of materials look, there is a difference in the amount of light that will filter in through the specific window shade that you choose for your important home improvement project. The Privacy Natural Wood Shades come standard with a privacy liner that will block out most of the light, and will also keep anyone from being able to see in. These Bamboo Shades can also be upgraded to a blackout liner, providing maximum light blockage, making them ideal for media rooms and bedrooms. If you are set on a specific pattern that is not part of the Privacy Natural Wood Shade assortment, but feel like too much light will come in, or that your neighbors will too easily be able to see in, you can add privacy or blackout liners to any of our lines of Bamboo/Woven Woods.

The Window Fashion Pros Bamboo/Woven Woods and Bamboo Shades can be further customized with a variety of Edge Binding options. Edge binding is a great way to color coordinate your woven wood shade with the colors in your room, and is available on all series.

Top Down/Bottom Up is a really cool feature that is available on most of the Woven Wood and Bamboo Shades. With this option, your window shade can be lowered from the top, as well as be raised from the bottom. This feature is great for applications where you want to open your window shade, yet still maintain a certain level of privacy.

The lift mechanism for the Bamboo/Woven Woods and bamboo shades works very much like any window shade or blind. You pull the cord, and the window shade raises to your desired level. And like any shade or blind, the cord gets longer as the shade goes higher. There is a way to eliminate having the cord extend. The feature is called Continuous Cord Loop, and it is exactly what it sounds like. When we mount your window shade, we also attach the bottom of the looped cord to the window sill or wall. To open your woven wood or bamboo shade you simply pull on the cord in one direction, and to lower it, you pull in the other direction.
