Description

Roller shades may be the simplest form of a window covering. They hang as inside mount or outside mount shades, and then can be raised and lowered with a simple tug on the shade, or with a cord. Having said that they are simple, you should be aware of the different options available on our roller blinds and roller window shades.

All of our other roller shades let in varying degrees of light. The sheer weave fabrics allow light to filter through, but block an impressive 86% of all harmful UV rays.

The lift mechanism is another factor to consider when shopping for your new roller shade. The cleanest look, and easiest to use is the spring clutch. There are no cords with this method. You simply give a little tug to release the clutch, and then gently hold the bottom of the shade until it reaches the desired height. Lowering the roller shade is also very easy. You pull the shade down to where you want it to be, and then release the shade. It will stay in that position until you give it the little lift tug. This system is a great child safety system, as there are no cords to get entangled in.

Continuous cord loop is another great safety method for lifting and lowering roller window shades. Once your shade is mounted, we anchor the bottom of the cord to the wall or window frame, and the cord loops through without leaving any cords hanging loose. It is another very simple method for lifting and lowering your roller shade. You pull the cord in one direction to lift, and the reverse direction to lower the shade. Our sheer weave roller shades, perhaps the most attractive in our line of roller shades, actually color coordinate the pull chain with the shade material.
